About our jewelry
Every piece is handmade from upcycled plastic, freshwater pearls, and 14K gold-filled findings. What looks like glass is actually rescued plastic, reshaped and finished by hand.
Yes. All our findings are nickel-free and skin-safe, suitable for sensitive ears and skin.

Yes. Every piece is handmade in our Singapore studio in small batches. No two pieces are exactly alike — slight variations are part of the handmade nature.
Materials & care
Gold-filled has a thick layer of real 14K gold bonded to brass — much more durable than gold-plated, which has a very thin coating that can wear off in months. Gold-filled is hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and built to last years of everyday wear.
- Store pieces in their box or a soft pouch to avoid scratching
- Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, hairspray, and water (shower, swim, sleep with them off)
- Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing
- Keep away from direct sunlight when not worn
With proper care, our upcycled plastic petals retain their colour beautifully. Avoid direct sunlight, harsh chemicals, and water exposure to preserve vibrancy.
No. Like all fine jewelry, Melmomilk pieces should be removed before showering, swimming, or exercising.

Returns & exchanges
For hygiene reasons, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges unless you've received a wrong or damaged item.

Custom orders & repairs

In many cases, yes. Email us with photos of the damage and your original order number. We charge a small repair fee plus return shipping; the cost depends on the piece.

Every piece is handmade in our Singapore studio by Mami, the founder and sole designer.
Conventional jewelry production is resource-intensive and wasteful. We chose upcycled plastic to turn waste into something beautiful — to prove that sustainable design can be just as desirable as anything new.
