Behind every petal, a second chance.
melmomilk is wearable art shaped from discarded plastic — handmade in Singapore, designed to be treasured.

How it began
melmomilk design started with a single discarded bottle and a question — what if waste could become beautiful?
What began as small experiments in 2021 has grown into a studio dedicated to slow, intentional craft. Every piece is hand-shaped, hand-painted, and hand-assembled — turning what would have ended in a landfill into something worn close to the skin.
We believe beauty isn't extracted. It's created. And the smallest things — a petal, a bottle, a moment — can hold the most meaning.

Made differently
Conventional jewelry is mined, mass-produced, and made to be replaced.
We make ours by hand, from materials others have thrown away.
Every melmomilk piece is built from upcycled plastic — rescued, reshaped, and given new purpose. Each one is a small protest against waste, and a quiet celebration of what's possible when craft meets care.
Slow craft, made well
The design
Inspired by the flowers we see and the seasons we live through. Each design begins as a sketch and ends as wearable art — a small reminder that beauty can come from the most unexpected places.
From waste to wear
We give discarded plastic a second life. Every translucent petal is shaped from waste materials sourced near home, then paired with freshwater pearls and gold-filled accents — turning what would have been thrown away into something to be treasured.
From the hand
Every flower is hand-shaped, every petal hand-painted, every piece hand-assembled in small batches.
No two are exactly alike — each carries the small variations that only come from being made by hand.
What we use
Upcycled plastic
Every petal was once a bottle. Reshaped and refined, given a second life as something to be worn.
Freshwater pearls
Natural, ethically sourced, and chosen for their soft imperfections.
14K gold filled
Nickel-free, skin-safe, and long-lasting.
Designed for everyday wear.

Meet the founder
Mami is the founder and sole designer behind melmomilk design. A Japanese mother of two based in Singapore, she trained in fashion design before turning her attention to handmade jewelry — a way to merge her love of nature with her commitment to sustainability.
Every melmomilk piece begins on her studio table, shaped by hand from rescued materials.
It's slow, deliberate work — the kind that can only come from one pair of hands at a time.
